Playing Geelong this week we will have to change our game. Last time we played them they put big body players behind our midfield players and pinned with ball and got free kicks for holding the ball and cheap goals as a result.

Thought we were a smoky this weekend but then they brought back Jaidyn Stephenson. Was hoping a line had been drawn through his name. Doesn’t compete, doesn’t work hard enough. The opposite of what’s turned things around for us over the last six weeks.

Might have won against the blues had the umpires not gifted them 4 or 5 from questionable decisions

Yeah, the League has us in training to dominate for a decade, with the 4 extra fluoro opposition and their half dozen differential goals (given and missed). After all, the top sides need the help to overcome our lads. Imagine the joy of an evenly umpired game (right, as if) and when the boys have grown into their big-boy shoes; they'll need 4 additional umpires with 12 dubious goal decisions against us to even get close to us! So, I suppose we have to get used to it as an AFL equalisation (& till filling) strategy, a backhanded compliment of sorts.

@@lunch2102 yes razor Ray is retiring at the end of the year. I don't think we'll miss him. how many games has he cost us over the years.
