So fun fact about me, I’m black and this was my first Cinderella. I hadn’t known about the animated white Cinderella until I was a teenager, so for the longest time the most beautiful and elegant princess was a black woman to me and that really helped shape how I viewed myself and my skin I’m a terrible singer but love this, please do more

I have the exact same experience with the wiz. I had no idea that there was a wizard of oz and that Dorothy was white, I loved that movie too it's cool and when I found out that there was an all white production of it I couldn't help but giggle because I couldn't imagine what it would be like and I still haven't watched the original wizard of oz to this day😂
