Omgosh, Grebes are absolutely fascinating! I'm not at all familiar with them so thank you for posting this video. You really do amazing work. These birds ride so low in the water when swimming that it's quite surprising to see how large they are when they rise to make that mad dash on the water's surface. Ha, that was something to see 😲These birds are a must see. Looks like a pair of good binoculars are in my future, LOL. Thanks so much. I've subscribed, however, often I have no internet so my KZbin viewing is sporadic. Again, lovely video. Hugs from an Oregon nomad 🌲❤🐶😽😽❤🌲

They do look much larger when they do their dance than when they are just swimming. I think they are able to somehow puff up their bodies. I know that they puff up their faces and neck prior, so that's what makes me believe they can do so with the rest.

So this is what Naruto and Sasuke were actually doing in the valley of end, a mating ritual, It all makes sense now.

This is fantastic. Great capture for these birds and their rituals. How do you move the camera and still keep smoothness to your shots?

Practice, practice, and more practice. A decent video head helps too. I use the Manfrotto nitrotech 608. Thanks for the positive comment. 👊
