I also prefer the episodes, also and above all at the level of actors because Alec is not like that in the film, perhaps only Jace is more similar to that of Clare than the series.

I was so Heartbroken when they weren't making a second movie I like the movie better it was close to the book and I could tell Jamie and Lilly were into each other it showed in their eyes. I just felt even though I like Jamie and did a wonderful Job playing Jace he just didn't look anything like him. Jace is suppose to be Gorgeous like Dom however I always picture Jace in my head looking like Alex Pettyfer like when he was in Beastly (Normal self not beastly looking lol) He would have been perfect if they casted him not Jamie. Oh well hopefully we get at least 6 seasons of shadows.....I'm personally dying to see my Sebastian

I'm dying to see Sebastian too! I know what you mean, when i watched the movie i freaking loved it. I loved the whole cast and i was so disapointed when i heard they werent making a second movie. When i heard it turned into a tv show with different cast i felt like punching who ever decided that.. But then after 1 episode i was in lovee with the new cast, i think Dom is amazing for Jace, Matt amazing for Alec, Emeraude amazing for Izzy, Kat amazing for Clary.. Etc. I'm so exited for the whole show because i love it.. I so hope we get the whole book series played out..!
