I tried to watch the last episode like two days ago and my mom even watched it with me and I couldn't help it. I started crying like a little kid at the wedding and I completely lost it at the end when they get to meet each other again. This show means so much to me... It truly saddened me that they took her memories away and that she had to forget about everyone from the shadow world. Even tho in the books it doesn't happen that way. But partly the open ending gives us hope that some day the series can be continued... And I truly hope that it will happen. I miss the show so much. It hurts my heart

I felt the same way. I was so frustrated by the ending that I just bought all the books and read them in 5 days or so. And you should definitely read the books. They are even more amazing and I really love them

@@piapond1531 I love the books and to be honest I wanted to watch the show first and then read the books so I can compare them for myself because I've seen the movie already. And I think that it was the best decision to make because that way I didn't judge the show so much. I actually loved it and I'm currently rewatching it for the 6th time or so. I've read that they are making series for the Infernal Devices and I'm really excited

@@ladycarstairs I'm doing it most times the same way since Harry Potter. I watched the movies first and read the books afterwards and that wase the best thing I could do. I'm a bit worried about the Infernal Devices series that they may ruin it. Because the relationships are so wonderful but in movies and/or series they often don't portray it like it is meant to be

@@piapond1531 I can fully understand your worries and it's normal because most of the series/movies based on books aren't as good as the book or the plot is completely different and takes its own course. But I read that BBC Three will be working on the adaptation and I hope that they will give the books justice because they are known to make really good series. And the actors will be also British which is important. But I'm sort of afraid that casting someone to play Jem Carstairs will be difficult. I truly hope that the series will live up to the expectations and that they will be well made. For now we can only hope

yes but Simon became part of the shadow world as he turned into a vampire, which is why she doesn't remember him as well as she doesn't remember the others. I don't know if you have read the books and if not, I won't spoil anything for you but if you have, you can find the answer there. but this is all I can tell you

In my opinion it wasn't that bad. Maybe because I read the books after I watched the show. Yes, some parts in the ending could've been a lot better and accurate with the books but from the beginning of the show it was told that it will take its own course. I think for the show itself, the ending was good and made sense, even tho, once again, it didn't have much in common with the stuff that happen in the books. The opened ending gives hope that the show could be continued at some point but sadly I'm not sure if it's ever going to happen. We can only hope
