I was first and had the 65 galaxie! Mine was a 390 HP which was on the fender, it did not mean power and was like 245 or something, not as much as wished for, came stock with console buckets an automatic I swapped the four speed into. Actually like said, a nice driver but it felt too big then my hands landed on the fairlane version. I was home and happy, everything but the sink and the color as it was red and I wanted black. I beat that car into the track racing and after the roll bars went in, it was fair"game"!!

The 66' 7 Litre could be had with 427 R motors. The Brothers Collection has two of them.

The Goat and the Galaxy were far too different to even be compared to each other. Nobody went looking at one of them and then bought the other one. If you didn't buy a Galaxy you might settle on an Impala or Bonneville, not a GTO. If you didn't get a GTO you might get a Fairlane or Chevelle not a Galaxy. It's very obvious that you were not around in those days but keep up the good work. I enjoy your videos even though you do get confused about the really small stuff too, like the 2 key system on the Fords. They had that since Jesus was born.

I ordered a 1966 GTO Tri power 4 sp. Barrier Blue w/ Blue interior. This car was a monster, loved it. My question to you is: With all of your research, can you find out the actual dyno horsepower on this engine? Pontiac rated it as you know at 360 hp. I feel it was much more than that. I’ve attempted to find this info, all I can find is chassis Dyno results. I hope you can help me. My email is tunakc@hotmail.com. Thanks in advance for helping out an old man.

Galaxy in my opinion wouldn't hold a candle to the goat
