DMS tuning have unlocked the ECU and TCU there taking booking now, iv rung today the R is supposed to be making 410bhp with just a flash and the CS 390bhp And the gearbox figures 510/520nm’s! this is with no mods too I know my CS is pulling 322 from factory after 18k , it’s been dyno’d twice now

Newer cars don’t do it for me, they just seem cheaper than their previous models and in a way a degrade, I mean that engine cover just did it for me, looks like a 1.0 cover, I mean comin vw, you could have done better on that, I mean how much would it have costed to add some words onto it or colour, nd I agree with u on the lights, just looks tacky and cheap. Same goes for the rear too, I prefer the mk7 nd 7.5 much more in terms of looks, and with a stage 1 it would keep up or be faster than the mk8

I saw a video where you just undo two screws on the centre grill that contains the lightbar and then remove the grill and disconnect the two lightbar connectors... one each end of the grill. Would it throw any codes? I will test it when i get my Golf 8R in a few months. 👍
