Single Target Inferno tower vs Multi Target Inferno Tower in Clash of Clans (COC). Inferno Towers are one of the best defenses in Clash of Clan. Inferno tower has 2 modes, Single and Multi target mode. We will be comparing Multi Target and Single Target inferno in COC!
The Inferno Tower is a defensive building unlocked at Town Hall level 10, that shoots a stream of flame that burn through even the thickest armor. It can be set to single-target or multi-target.
The Inferno Tower was added in the May 23rd, 2013 update that added Town Hall level 10. It had 2 levels and only single target mode. The December 2013 update gave the Inferno Tower the multi target mode.

Single target - the fear of any Queen charge/walk attempt. The fear of any high HP tank troop. Multi target - the fear of hybrid attacks, lalo, minions. The fear of sneaky goblins (for farming)

Inferno tower on single target IS the ultimate defence. When thought about other defences there are no flaws with it, mortar wizard tower scattershot xbow being mostly multi and spam troop defences while inferno being able to take down big boi tanks.

I'm town hall 12 and I use 2 singles on either side of the town hall and 1 multi next to the town hall in-between the singles. I don't understand why some people only use single or only use multi. They are clearly designed for dealing with different troops and are really good at doing what they are designed so using a combination of single and multi infernos covers the entire spectrum.

Its really kind of strange: at th10 since their base damage is so low infernos are best set to single, at TH11/12 they become better in terms of base damage and are best multi; at TH13 we have the scattershot and a better giga weapon so it is best set to single; at TH14/15 we add a target for the multi at Lv8+ and we introduced the monolith so we set it back to multi again

These are stupid ways to go about doing tests because there’s no walls, and not 3-4 other defenses in with you…. How often do 20 troops get a free run at something with walls/other defenses. Of course the offense is going to win most of the time. Do this with level 10-11 walls around the entire tower then see how good it does against 20-30 barbarians…. Feel like these tests aren’t valid

Single target is recommended on low level Inferno Tower Lv-1 to 3 (which is common on Dragon spam) once you get it to Lv4 you can switch to Multi target due to it is more overall higher damage than Single Target.

Single : Burst Damage. Multi : AoE Damage. Combine both properly for best results. We won't even know what tactics enemies use. Each different attack tactics can even bring complete victory. Since it's so good, they'll allow even TH 9 to use freeze so as to silent those dangerous magmas.

Basically you need both , keep the single ones near your Town hall bcz only the strong troops survive and reach your TH , keep the multi in the middle so they can wipe the small weak troops and reduce the big ones health Dont keep them at the outer edges because people may just start spamming dragons

Always keep your Inferno Multi.. Otherwise they'll punish you with bats & Witches.. There's a reason why there's rarely Single inferno in Clash Championships.. Though it's okay to keep 1 single at TH 12 & above. You can keep it on single though cuz 90% of players are Spam Zap Drag users.

Bomb Towers are made for Witches and if you're th10 people just go with the Gowiwi strat, Single is the best defense against Golems and yeah Multi is the best for Bats but it still depends on your base layout In my case i never see anyone use Bats anymore, Most of the time just people spamming Edrag so Single is the best counter for that, Multi scares Hog and Valks players tho

The thing is - different inferno work for different bases. If you're lacking in splash damage, or getting destroyed by hogs, then obviously the multi is going to be better. Likewise if you're getting spammed with edrags, putting them on single will help tame them. I struggle defending against edrag spam so mine are set to single, I position them to weave between xbow and air defense and put a tornado trap just in range of it so that I could at least take out 1 or 2.

the multi tower is for large armys with low health while single tower is for single target with large health

Lower hitpoint troop can't destroy multiple inferno,but higher hitpoint troop can destroy multiple inferno. Anyway, both multiple and single infernos are useful for any base. I want to suggest that if you have two inferno towers,you should set single and multiple.
