1:32 Eric mentioned that builders "are able to know where the spirit walk is going to be". why is that? It seems that there were big bombs only on the side where the spirit walk had happened. The Root Rider would have triggered the bombs on the other side.

A lot of times the builders are looking at where the most common entries are on a base, or base style, are. If they notice one area seems to be getting hit the most then they trap it heavily. Or if the builders are baiting the area by making it seem like a very high value area to attack with the rc charge then they will trap it very heavily to stop the rc from getting all the value. It is definitely a gamble to stack a ton of traps but it gives a greater chance of the base defending if the attacker goes into the builders' bait.

for symmetrical bases, they do just have to pick a side and hope the attacker enters from it. If they do, they could get a defense, but if not, well they had to try anyways. Players do tend to prefer attacking from the right side of the base, especially for more complicated attacks since more people are right handed

Diego's attack was amazing... he uses the overgrowth to push the root riders towards a better tanking position for the rc, he wall breaks to perfectly funnel the valks and queen into a good section of the base, he sees the defensive minion prince threat and anticipates it with poison lizard on the warden, and a well timed headhunter. Crushed, even though the rc spirit charge got baited

Multi infernos are the only thing stopping lavaloon puppet and lalo in general from being meta, if you got an easy way to take those down then it can work well
