While this game isn't scary, Superhorrorbro always finds a way to theorize a story from it. Give him the credit he deserves.

I'll give credit to Superhorrorbro for making the game seem interesting; but I will not give credit to the Brothers who developed this game for making a knock-off Poppy Playtime clone, with an even dumber story. I get that it was an indie project just made by two people. But other understaffed games do similar things, with perhaps even LESS money, but better! _Pizza Tower_ was made by three guys (McPig as the Artist/Coder, while Clasciy Jitto and Sauceman were the Main Composers) and when they weren't satisfied with the end product, they spent 5 years giving it a rehaul to make it into a more playable game! _Stardew Valley_ was made by just Barone in a 4-year period after he was unable to secure a coding job! Tom Happ made _Axiom Verge_ over course of many weekends and evenings while working on other stuff for Petroglyph Games... it wasn't even an "official" game creation, just a side pet project he made because he wanted to, taking him 5 years to make it! All of these other guys could and DID make good games! It may have taken them years to make them, to brainstorm, to plan, to polish the rough edges and finetune the kinks out, but by God! They did EVERYTHING they set out to do! The two brothers who made _this_ game? HA! They just churned 'em out fast as they could. The duo even more or less admitted that they didn't put a lot of effort into it when others confronted them about the game being a potential overpriced scam, saying such because they couldn't handle the backlash from the gaming community! And why wouldn't there be?! The graphics are so atrocious it makes Baldi looks handsomer by comparison (and his low-tier graphics WERE done on purpose, to replicate the crappy style of Edutainment games from the '90's and '00's era computer labs where a child _would've_ played them)! The story is told so sparingly that you'd be forgiven for not even realizing there _IS_ a story, and thinking it was just a convoluted walking simulator with puzzles clumsily stapled in! And the unanswered questions; ooooooh-hohoho, good lord, THE UNANSWERED QUESTIONS! 'Cause there are SO MANY of them! Seriously; _why_ is there an evil lab and subterranean city under what is ostensibly a CHILDREN'S KINDERGARTEN?! In Bendy, it was explained that they weren't _really_ in the studio, but merely a celluloid filmstrip, powered by demonic ink ran through a high-tech projector; in Poppy Playtime, even though it is still patently ridiculous for there to be a human experimentation lab under a toy factory, it is, nevertheless, _passable_ because of the sheer income that Playtime Co. had to throw around, as well as the already existent heavy machinery involved in the toy-making process, so they could be modified for newer, more sinister reasons; but THIS?! It comes completely out of left-field, with no build-up, very minimal explanation, and we're just supposed to accept that as fact, to not bat an eye at the obvious Jumbo Josh in the room?! Also, why are most of the buttons operated by Drone based puzzles? Couldn't the character just reach up and slap them with their hands? If the character was a kid themself, it _might_ make sense, because they're too short to reach most things; but we're playing as a kid's parent come to get them back? Are they really *THAT* scared of the Corona that they refuse to touch anything?! Or is the game implying that we're playing as either a little person or a an armless biped who can't reach the controls?! Why were the scientists taking genetic samples from the kids and grownups that played/worked in the kindergarten?! What _possible_ justification or excuse could they give to make it seem less suspicious when they ask, like really: "Oh. Oh! Susan I'm sorry but as is our company policy, all workers and their children must donate a blood, saliva, urine, or hair sample for our...err, 'Medical Records?' Yeah, that's the ticket! 'Medical Records,' we need so-and-so for your and their 'Medical Records!' We insist that our reasons are not based in any kind of bizarre and unethical scientific experimentation or pederasty! Promise!" And even if they could bamboozle the public into not finding anything weird or creepy or eew-y about harvesting biological samples from their workers and clientele (including small toddlers), what would they stand to gain from MAKING said scientific abominations? To make a race of people based around their Kindergarten's mascots? Or to sell 'em to some amusement park or children's tv show? The scientists (and I use that term very, very, VERY loosely) are essentially pulling an Underpants Gnome scenario, ya know from 'South Park?!' STEP 1: We get the genetic material from children and grown-ups; then use that to make realistic mascots! STEP 2: .... STEP 3: Profit! And on the topic of money, which brings us back to the earlier question of 'Why the Hell is there a High-Tech Research Facility and Subterranean City under a Friggin' KINDERGARTEN?!' that raises my next question: How in the flying f@#k did they manage to get all that dough?!?!?! They're Kindergarten teachers, not multibillionaire tech conglomerates or biomedical corporations; there's no way they could EVER afford any of the crap they got under that Kindergarten, not on their salary! Did... did one of the teachers sleep with a politician, recorded it, then threatened to release the footage to the public (and the politician's wife) if they didn't supply her and her colleagues with enough resources to do whatever the shit they wanted to?! How many contractors were they obligated to pay off just to keep the construction of this whole subterranean civilization thing under wraps?! That's not something that anybody who worked on wouldn't tell their buddies at a bar somewhere, like: "Hey, Frank! You'll never believe what I came back from! No, not the McAllister Place, though thanks for remindin' me! No, I helped build this massive friggin' lab thing-y and city under the Kindergarten! I think yer kid goes there, right? Say why are ya gettin' quiet on me! It's weird, Frank, so's unlike youse!" Those questions are barely the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to all the weird thoughts this game puts in your head, then torments you over never receiving an answer to!😠😡🤬

The only upside to _Garten of Banban_ (if you could call it such) is that the first one's free; part 2 is $4.99 on STEAM; Part 3 is in the works, so I don't know what the price will be. There was, at one point, reports that there was going to be an internal store within the game itself to make in-game purchases to "improve" the game, or make playing it easier, though I don't know how true these are (to be honest, I recall seeing someone else's video going into much better detail than I could in these commentaries, I just don't remember who posted the vid). If the reports _were_ true though, I'd imagine it'd probably be something like the Atomic Shop in Fallout 76, or like pay-to-win lootboxes , maybe some microtransaction crap like you'd see in mobile games.

@@ladylunaginaofgames40 I have heard of it. I came across it's steam page. It intrigued me. Didn't play because. Well i don't know, i don't know if it was because i was tired or something else. But i think it was because steam crashed. I was surprised by the crash as rarely does anything crash if i don't have to much stuff going on. But i only had Opera GX, Steam and =)="¤&%&? opened. I will definitely play it as it seems like my type of game. Al tough i don't know if i ever will get the time. I really didn't know that if was memed upon that much given how i'm a meme enjoyer.

@Executable it probably crashed because of polygon count. Someone took a look at the polygons used, and oh boy: the remote alone used too much polygons. The second game is out, cost $8, and its both long and annoying.

@@ladylunaginaofgames40 I don't think it was because of the polygons. My computer has no problem with games with way higher polygon counts and ran above average. Polygons weren't the reason of the crash as my computer has no problem with games like Battlefield 2042. GTA5 and "¤"#¤!"""==???" so that wasn't it. And also, it was steam that crashed, i didn't download the game, so polygons aren't a factor. Even tough i think that it might have just caused slowdown or irretable lag not crashing.
