AHHHH, finally someone who has them react to Deku being attacked by the Sludge Villain! I’ve been trying to find someone who had done that for a while now! I always see people do Bakugo angst with him having PTSD from it, but they always forget that Deku experienced the same thing, but also with the thought that he would actually die since there was no one around (besides All Might of course but he didn’t know that at the time).

One think that I just realized was that while Deku was in Middle School and was attacked (Like what Bakugou said that it was never reported) no one knew, showing no one cared except All Might. All Might saved him and signed his notebook, and later, Deku is his successor Now, many people care for Deku and care, so I think that was a good touch.

Thx for adding shinsou, I remember ( don’t know which episode ) that he said something along the lines of he had a perfect life, I think now he has learned his lesson to never judge a book by its cover ! You might say but his mom abuses him! No she doesn't. That's an AU she cares the most about her SON. But its quite one-sided here. All izuku Midoryia does is worship bakugou kastuki. Bakugou kastuki took advantage of the worshipping just so he could feel better. Yes he does apologize but if I were to be izuku Midoryia in that situation I wouldn't forgive him, yes he nearly killed himself for us (WHEN HE REALISES THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE ACTIONS HE HAD DONE) we all NOW know he's trying to change but what about the past? The past will forever taunt Izuku Midoryia. Let's NOW finally talk about Izuku. Instead of just bottling the feeling up he could've actually done something instead of what he did. What we know from the teacher (middle school) he was very rude and horrible to Midoryia. Yet I still believe Izuku could've at least attended fighting clubs or even trained himself, yet he didn't. He CHOSE to endure the pain. We're still not clear if the teachers would even let the poor guy but, he could at least told bakugous mother about this. If he did fight and train himself then he could've stood up for himself.

Izuku got over all the bullying long time ago. Also like 90 percent of the fanbase and these "angst" videos make izuku's bullying 100 times more severe, his teachers just didn't care. They didn't actively try to hurt midoriya they just didn't give a fuck. the past only matters if somebody holds onto it for no reason, which izuku isn't. Bakugo already atoned for more then enough, and an apology holds much more weight depending on the person. What bakugo did was in middle school, they're now basically pro heroes that are actively part of literal doomsday (thx to shiggy) he already did everything he can to properly atone. The victim already forgave him, that's good enough

Bakugo even told him to kill himself. So there is no way in hell your saying it wasn’t severe. That’s an insult to actual victims. He was still abused verbally by Bakugo, his entire class and even his teachers. The teachers literally made fun of him in class too. Mentioning he wanted to join UA on purpose, because they thought it was funny. He was told to jump of a building, to commit suicide. It’s very disgusting how your minimizing how messed up the bullying was for Deku just to defend Bakugo, saying Bakugo hold’s more weight. Please, Bakugo was praised since he was a kid and never faced any consequences for his actions. Does precious little bakugo feel guilty? Good, because he should, that’s not something to praise Bakugo on. No apology in the world will erase the person Bakugo used to be, and as much as people want to pretend everything is fine, it obviously isn’t. The very fact that Midoriya adopted the nick name bakugo used to bully him since they were 5, which means “useless”, as his hero name, in itself shows how he was incapable of moving on. There is a difference between forgiving and just flat out pretending it didn’t happen, and that it didn’t affect you at all. Quick reminder that Midoriya considered suicide after bakugo suicide bated him: “What if I jumped, what would he do then.” Yeah, he thought about it without even realizing it and you see his expression when he realized he had considered doing it. I was bullied, and just because my bully and I get along, does not make us friends, does not mean I forgive and forget. The difference is I don’t pretend that it happened all together, and that it didn’t affect me at all like Midoriya does.

Nxplu, I agree with you. Just because Bakugo made a big gesture (risking his life), doesn’t mean all his bullshit is erased and everything is ok. Absolutely not. But Midoriya doesn’t help. He just pretends nothing happened, and that it didn’t affect him at all. I mean he used the nickname Bakugo gave him as an insult, “Deku”, which means useless, as his hero name! If that doesn’t scream denial, I don’t know what does. Also his teachers took part in the bullying and other’s just didn’t care. Like the teacher who deliberately mentioned that Izuku wanted to go to UA, knowing full well how the other students would react, that they would make fun of him for it. People don’t seem to be able to interpret or understand the simple fact that, it’s easier to block it all out, not to look back, then to face all the pain he had to endure all those years. I can honestly understand that. However, I don’t see what Midoriya found so inspirational about Bakugo. He was a bully, who never actually showed the heart of a hero. He acted like a villain since he was 5 years old. It was also stupid how he thought Bakugo had to know about one for all, when in reality it had zero to do with him, it was none of his business. Bakugo’s character was given more importance then he’s worth, and the writer made Izuku’s life revolve way too much around Bakugo, so much that it was just unrealistic all together. I would have loved to see Midoriya learn to move on, and realize that what Bakugo thought of him did not matter, that he was worth more then that. Seeing Midoriya realize that there was nothing to idolize about Bakugo because, regardless of how hard Bakugo is trying now, he never acted like a hero the entirety of the years he had known him, until now that he has to since they are in a hero school, and if he doesn’t act the part, that would hold him back from his goal, which wasn’t to be a great hero, but simply to be better then everyone else just like when they were kids and in middle school. No bullied kid is gonna make their bully the center of their existence, and spend their life acting like they owe the bully anything. At least no one in a good mental state.

Being abused and bullied are two different things, learn the difference first. If you cant see why that shows you dont pay attention to horiksohis work on their relationship development, especially bkdk is the most popular ship in japan with their own tokyo tower. The show is also based on their relationship do pay attention, if deku can forgive him other people can too, izuku’s literally isnt scared or traumatized by bakugou so theres no reason to act like it caused him truama, if it did he would’ve stayed away from bakugou at all times. Pay attention to little details then focusing on the past from their middle school, theyre in high-school now in their 2nd year
