I love the sound of choppers they sound just like a class 40 I miss tinsley Marshalling yard near sheffield I used to go up there regular in the late 1980s on sundays as a teenager and there was 15-20 class 20s running talking to each other in perfect harmony lol wish I could still hear them sounds!!!😎

Class 20's are still great. Proper whistling that's when you can tell what they are. Plenty of power on them. I was pulled on a pair doing a special tour in 1990. Poulton to Fleetwood 👍

It is a shame that you don't see these choppers on the mainline that often, the first time i saw some was while on holiday in that lake district on a nuclear flask train and i immediately fell in love with them

Hi Kev, always a great sounding loco as is the class 40 due to same manufacturer, you have a great selection of class 20s, you must travel miles to capture the footage you do.... always great to watch, beats TV any day lol Thumbs Up 👍
