Petrol used: 50L. 30L Distance travelled:100km. ? As the petrol used is decreased the distance travelled will also decrease so this is in direct proportion X1/y1=X2/y2 =50/100=30/y2 =50 x y2 = 30 x 100 = 50 y2 = 3000 = y2 = 3000/50 = y2 = 60 Hence , the distance travelled by the car when the petrol used is 30 L = 60km
