20:01 Ans- We see the lightning before the sound of thunder. Reason- the speed of light is much more than the speed of sound. So, the light of lightning reaches our eyes much before than the sound of thunder reaches our ears.

2:33:58 Ma'am, when we rub any object with polythene, doesn't the polythene gain negative charges and the object which is rubbed gains Positive Charge.

So mam won't the plastic straw gain positive charge.
@MagnetBrainsEducation
@MagnetBrainsEducation 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question! When you rub an object with polythene, the polythene transfers some of its electrons to the object. This gives the polythene a net positive charge and the object a net negative charge.

So,mam if there are more no.of protons in an atom so it will make a positive charged object ? " Or" If there are more no.of electrons in an atom then will it make an object negatively charged? If yes then mam how come atoms have same no. of protons and electrons as atoms are neutral.

Mam how can we identify that any object has positive charge or negative charge?
@MagnetBrainsEducation
@MagnetBrainsEducation 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question! To identify an object's charge, you can use a device called an electroscope. This device works by separating two metal plates and then charging the object and bringing it close to the plates. If the object has a positive charge, the plates will move away from each other. If the object has a negative charge, the plates will move towards each other. I hope this helps!
