Mam I have doubt that 1)How the process of osmosis lasts upto equilibrium state? 2)Movement of molecules in diffusion move across the cell membrane of which cell?
@Ahh_justaeditor
@Ahh_justaeditor 7 ай бұрын
Answer of 2) Actually it moves from out to in from outside to inside for example if we put a dry raisin (kishmish) in water so the concentration of water will be more outside so for balancing the concentration of water the water will start moving inside the raisin then the raisin which is our cell (a plant cell) then the cell means our raisin will get swellen it means that the concentration of water is getting equal

Mam I have a question Diffusion meaning higher concentration to lower concentrations means all molecules can bhi attached to each other but how it can be possible in ink and candel smell it would be like as lower concentrations to higher concentration?
@MagnetBrainsEducation
@MagnetBrainsEducation Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for your thoughtful question. Diffusion occurs when molecules move from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration. This process occurs with both liquid and gas molecules. In the case of ink and candle smell, molecules of the ink and candle move from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration. This process is known as diffusion. I hope this helps!

Hi there! Thank you for your questions! The Plasma membrane is called a selectively permeable membrane because it allows only certain substances to pass through it. If the organization of a cell is destroyed, the cell will be unable to perform its vital functions and will eventually die. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to leave them here.

In living cell - cell organelles keep moving and doing their particular function and keep doing their job to keep the body all actions active and in dead cell - they do not perform any action or activity and after time our body removes it out of body by any source

The cell membrane is also called plasma membrane. It is the outermost covering of a cell which separates the cell's contents from its external environment. It allows the entry and exit of some substances in and out of the cell. It also denies some. Hence it is also called a selectively permeable membrane.
