Ma'am If the number of electrons in a atom is equal to the number of protons. Then the loss or gain of electron will also cause the loss or gain of proton to mantain the principle.

No, because in an atom, electrons are the only productive subatomic particles, meaning only electrons do all the work in an atom, because the protons and neutrons are enclosed in the nucleus. So, that's why, only electrons need to be gained or lost to maintain stability.
