If we evolved from bats, that is what we would invent. Elevators would be for disabled people, who couldn't fly, but the rest of us would just hop in the open wind tunnel to a higher floor. One side for going up, the other for going down. Like stairs, but faster and easier.

depends on tunnel. and depends if you're fat or muscular tbh. fat people as a ball - low drag, slim people are flatter, more drag.
