For this one in particular: Burs -> etch -> bond -> light -> Composite gun -> condenser -> (whatever the dentist likes shape occlusal anatomy with) -> light -> 7404 bur/cleoid-discoid -> polishing cups

What happens if I don't use air after applying the bond? is it super necessary?
@mentaldental Жыл бұрын
Some will argue it’s not absolutely necessary, but I do believe it helps strengthen your bond by evaporating the solvent with air.

If the tooth is otherwise healthy, the restoration is not too large and is well done, and the patient maintains the tooth with excellent oral hygiene afterwards, then the chance for long-term survivability is high!

how long does one filling take?
@mentaldental4 жыл бұрын

I don't understand what Class I even means.There is no straight answer on Google nor on KZbin. It's a piece of information the dentistry world seems to have reserved for inner circles only.
@imzirella11 ай бұрын
It's a one surface cavity mostly on the occlusal( biting) surfaces (within the pits and fissures) idk for sure though. I just started learning 😂
@whenraindropsfall11 ай бұрын
@@imzirella you’re possibly right. Apparently each class is for each side. Thanks for trying
@Momanii10 ай бұрын
The “class” describes the area of the cavity Class 1- pits and fissures and well as the lingual pits Class 2- inter proximal area of posterior teeth Class 3-inter proximal surfaces anterior teeth Class 4-inter proximal surfaces including the incisal edge of anterior teeth Class 5- cervical third Class 6- cusp tips of posterior teeth or incisal edges of anterior For a better understanding, search up blacks classification :)
