Great video but it would be great to hear what you used and hear you discuss the steps as you worked on the restoration. I am a dental student still learning how to do these restorations so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

This is excellent! awesome technique when packing and molding the composite. currently a D2 working on class IV anterior composites and it is incredible how finicky these can be.

Did you blow air while light curing? You will cook the nerve. Patient will get sensitivity.

How did you build up the tooth before the impression with the putty matrix? Did you wax it up first ?

I did it free hand with composite because I did not have time to treat the patient and I used the temporary filling to make the silicone index.

Any time it may be fractured on chewing hard food...no guarantee....better to put Zirconium Crown for life long lasting

I don't think it's long lasting I broke my tooth 12 years ago and had that fix. Then I bite into garlic bread and that tooth broke again. I can't get my tooth fix tomorrow because my dentist is close. Due to Presidents Day. So have to wait till the next day.

Depends on the diet and brushing. Also it can be polished off and redone if necessarily without removing precious tooth surface required to fit a crown. In my opinion crown should be last resort treatment for front teeth.

Mark Sh You take the impression as is, then your technician make a model so called wax up tehnique, then u take impression on that model . The steps after are the same.

Mark Sh No problem :) alternatively , if you don't have available technician, you can do what i did today: make a quick "regular " one shade restoration , then make your impression , then remove it and do the layering technique . All the best
