If you want to move it up, you add composite. To move it down, you will need to remove some of the tooth structure by stripping or removing by a diamond finishing point. I do not really recommend moving the location of the contact a lot because it may be an area of black area or food stagnation when the embrasure becomes larger. But is all depends on the amount you need to remove.

As always beautiful explained but i would ask about your tip when i have long conatact incisogingivally ( contact located at the middle third ) … what you recommend to corrected to push the contact at incisal third safely … may i ask if you post free hand restoration of lower canine 😅😅 i am interested in canines

Thank you. Depending on the tooth's shape, you can either add composite or do minor contouring to the natural tooth to give an illusion that the contact is lower. However, this needs to be seen clinically to evaluate where the modification needs to be done and what to do. I will add the canine to the list of videos to record 😊.
