Siemens NX | Reference Geometry

NX reference geometry functionality leaves a lot to be desired. For example, I wish I could simply create a point where two reference axes intersect. Cross referencing geometry is waaaay more intuitive in most other CAD programs.

You can. It is under 'Point Set' Intersection. Something to remember when dealing with NX: It is the only fully parametric CAD/CAM/CAE tool that allows you to open and work on data that's over 30 years old with out migrating and such. Siemens/UGS made a promise decades ago to anyone using their software that no one else has. No matter what version your data was created in, you can always open and modify your data. That has lead to certain situations that no one else has to deal with so that makes it so somethings are a little different.
