Hi there, Thanks for your comment. Can you clarify, please? Shares can be given two main kinds of values: nominal and market value. Nominal value usually remains the same, and is decided when the shares are created. Usually, this is £1 per share. Market value fluctuates and, in short, is what other people are willing to pay for the shares.
