@@RoadTripsinCornwallUK thank you. It’s my goto bike despite having more Powerful machines. She’s happy sat from 30 to 55/60 in top gear and makes B road riding very pleasant

That brought back some memories - I had a C15 in the 1960s, cost £55! Passed my test on it, went to the 1966 Dragon Rally on it with my mate on the back. A whole bunch of us from our Scout Group went that year. Change of topic: the two main dangers for corn grinding water-mills were flooding and fire or explosion! If the stones ran out of grain they could spark against each other and ignite the flour-dust in the air. Industrial dangers in the pre-industrial age!! Nice video, thank you. Les

Hiya Les, my C15 is my goto bike despite having Nortons and Troumphs. She sounds lovely mate. They say she has a weak crank ? By design but mine rides lovely. She’s riddled with Patina. I don’t intend to change that mate. Thanks so much for commenting. All the very best. I’m in north cambs if your ever in the area your welcome to a bacon bap and tea or coffee. Regards Dave

@@Anotherflyonmyvisor Thanks for reply Dave. Weak crank? Not sure on that. Certainly that (early?) bush main bearing used to worry me a bit, but don’t think it ever gave out. My aim was an Alpha big-end and roller main conversion but I never did. I always wanted a sort of ISDT machine. Now I ride a Yamaha Serow (‘XT225’, 1992) and a modified (by me) Honda Innova (ANF125). I’m in Chester, and same applies, if you’re ever this way. N Wales is just down the road!! Les
