The amount of work you get done with that first initial clipper buzz as you taper it into the bulk of the hair is truly incredible. You’re essentially already creating a fade just by knowing how much pressure to apply to the head with the clipper as you rise up. Most barbers are unable to this and need to create lines just to remove them to get the desired effect which you so effortlessly did.

Also part of the technique is just allowing the clipper to leave the round of the head, instead of following the round shape. Notice how he asked the client to tuck his chin in so it would be easy to go straight up and off the head with the clipper.

Hello mr. MC, i admire you the way you cut the hair, i inspiring barbers from asia...
MC's pompadours are the best i've seen on KZbin. He seems to nail every cut in regards to the place you need to blend into the top, if i'm making sense? Like every head is different so you have to get that cut to work with the headshape

Is he going straight up and down w the clippers vs c motion ?
@everettwhite98743 жыл бұрын
Basically he’s going straight up on back and sides. This cut notice closely how he uses the guards (eg #1/2, 1) and guard adjustments (open/close/closed) as well as the cutting motion. It seems your question is focused on building the base for the fade. You can do this. 👊🏽😎

@AngelbertGonzalez3 жыл бұрын
They are only sold in LatinAmerica. Look into the Stylecraft Absolute Alpha (equivalent to Wahl magic clips) they look exactly the same, or the Rebel (equivalent to Wahl seniors) also by Stylecraft. I’d recommend you watch the reviews by Rum Barber.
