The E28 is back! So great to see you working back on it Memphis, loved this episode today! A full detailing episode on the car would be really awesome as well, would love to see that. Do you have any future plans to correct the paintwork? As usual though man, great stuff :)

Really nice job on the copper lines ! And the exhaust sounds very good. Clean rumble, no metallic echo, just a nice, throaty sound 👌 I'm getting a stainless steel muffler delete pipe in two weeks, I'm so excited haha 😂 If you need a hand for an interior detailing with an extractor shampoo machine, don't hesitate 😁

There are some special products for exaust - a paste for cold and one for hot (witch one you want to use) to seal properlly the "joints" of the exaust (like an adhesive), instead of the copper vaseline. At least now test it with some sopy water all the joints and be sure you don't have gas leaks on the fittings.

Loved it how you showed the process of bending and cutting those copper tubes for the brakes . I saw Ed China from Wheeler Dealer do the same thing and he heated the ends of the copper tubes to make it smoother for forming those bulbs at the end. Great job 👍😀

Good that you chose nickel-copper instead of just copper! The regular workshops/garages use just copper and it is weaker than steel. It does not rust like steel, but it is weaker in terms of holding pressure. Nickel-copper however is stronger than steel and also does not rust. As much as I have read on the internet - Lambos and similar cars (and VOLVOS!) have nickel-copper lines from factory.

Great video, Memphis. Wonderful to see the old BMW getting love. The new exhaust sounds fantastic. Seeing you doing the brake lines reminds me of the first time I did hard lines. It was on a 1979 Ford Thunderbird. At the factory the lines were put on the frame rails before the body was dropped on. That made for some fun. More fun was doing outside with the car up on an air jack, and lying on the ground. We used steel lines, and bending then just right was a bit of a challenge. On that car, the fuel line ran right beside it, so new fuel line at the same time. Still, the end result was worth the effort. I can't wait to see the old BMW looking as great as it sounds. That will be well worth watching. I keep hoping for more Greta, too. That is the car that drew me to watching your channel, as I have a huge soft spot for the Volvo 240 Estate. That is what I drive daily, although mine is a 2.3 litre petrol backed by the AW-70 automatic gearbox. Still, at 605,000 kilometers, I cannot complain.

Really enjoyed this video, awesome work dude. The production quality has come a long way from those early days, great camera work, editing, explanations etc. Impressive brake pipes, nice to see you using the right kind of nickel copper and not just the soft stuff. I was worried that the exhaust would sound overblown but no, it sounds very nice indeed and manages to retain the sweetness of that straight six which is one of the main pleasures of driving these cars, hearing the wail of that in line straight engine as you approach the red line. Great work on the brakes, seems like it would stop on a dime now and wow the old girl can really move too. Would love to see a full detail on the E28, was impressed how clean it was underneath, it surely deserves to receive a little pampering. Would also like to see you take a road trip in here eventually.
