Great video here! I recently purchased a 250 V8 last month and I wish I saw this video beforehand so I could’ve been more thorough. Mine is definitely not as nice as this one shown here but for what it is, it’s useable enough. Mine is definitely letting water in somewhere and I suspect it’s one of the rubbers along the windows as you showed here. Great video overall though and thank you for taking the time to make it!

It's an English Kar !! Soo IMO /experience with these things: RUST badly attacks half the car. Shiny painted Cars are often the VERY Worst examples, being Poorly Patched up for resale $$. Britain effectively Invented Rust! And leaking gaskets. Which means any and ALL body bits are potentially Rotted out. While mech bits are usually well protected by layers of Oil goop.

Could be big mistake using the jacking points like you have if I enter a garage without a drive on ramp I drive away those ramps reck classic cars there not meant for classic cars be warned those jacking points were no good when the car was new certainly no good now

Thanks Paul, it is a fair point! We wouldn’t lift a fragile car on the ramps at all and we certainly turned cars away because they were unsafe to go up in the air!
