Interesting that I typed "classic concentration perfect game" in the search bar, and came up with this. Surely this episode isn't one, but that honor goes to Travis from a few months later, where not only he cleared the board with all the prizes, but also found ALL THREE Wild Cards, for a grand total of $11,874, a true perfect round with every possible prize and bonus won. As far as I know, this is the only occasion this has ever happened in CC history.

BTW, A "Big Win" for Scott in this episode, after he got stumped on the "Reed" symbol, in the water, he won plenty of prizes, and the trip to Paris, which he lost, the 1st time out, before getting it back, for a total of $7,766, only $234 short of a potential prize package of $8,000.

The duck is in the water with the reeds (Read). The arrows are pointing to the hem (him) on the woman's dress. The arrows give the specific clue, the other images add context.

Grew up on the original Downs/Clayton version, not as much on either the Narz or Trebek ones. A revival is needed (as simply "Concentration" with the logo used in the Clayton and Narz versions and filmed at 30 Rock in NYC) and should be paired with Family Feud in syndication for a Fremantle double to counter Sony's Jeopardy!/Wheel of Fortune pair. All versions can be tapped into for a reboot and I am pretty sure diversity/inclusion will factor this time into who gets the hosting gig. Should be sped up via all cash games which would eliminate segments of descriptions of prizes won or that can be won. Also for speed-up, player intros and a little about them are to be done by only the announcer. Use a 25-square board but use a free space number 13 and a game start with a buzz-in to give either contestant a chance to solve the puzzle on just the free space reveal. Assuming no solve from the free space, then on the regular game bring back forfeit pairs from the original version to create challenges for the players and eliminate green/red from the Trebek version. Use two forfeit pairs (instead of 3 such pairs from the original), one take pair, one wild card pair, and eight cash pairs (say, $100, $200, $300, $400, $500, $1000, $2000). Only the contestant who solves the puzzle wins all the cash showing on their side of the board. Play as many games as possible, but when times runs out in the regular game play portion of the episode, if only parts of the puzzle are revealed in the progress, then a buzz-in for a puzzle solution as two numbers at a time slowly reveal until the puzzle is solved. The contestant with the most earned cash in the regular play portion of an episode advances to an episode-ending bonus round and returns in the next episode with the loser eliminated although they keep their cash from any game they won; this time no limit to earnings or game wins meaning a winner can keep coming back (as in the current Jeopardy! version). The bonus round is like that in the Trebek episode but with 35 seconds to call all seven cash pairs (not car models) from a 15-square board with number 8 a free space...bonus worth $20,000. All contestants stand in playing this new version (no sitting). If a new Concentration revival goes at least one season or more, then have an annual Challenge of Champions with the top eight cash earners for the season over seven episodes...four quarterfinal episodes, two semifinal episodes, and a final episode with the C of C winner winning $100,000. Use the Narz edition theme/cue music for the music here (except use a live organist for C of C eps)...it was the catchiest.

I wasn't a fan of letting the contests drone on and on about themselves and their friends and family plus Alex droning on and on then shouting hurry at the contests during the game.
