Hello, I saw one of these 250 stormer bikes in 1968 at our local track. This was in California. At that time there were many of the bikes featured on your Chanel imported to our area. Thanks for your effort to bring back so many memories of the great beginning of motocross here in America.

In my opinion the 250 & 410 Stormers were the best looking 2 stroke MX bikes ever made. I would love to have one.

I love the front mudguard holder and the 2 bent spikes of the right footpeg caused by kickstarting.

Great video. I had a Stormer back in the day. Ferocious machine and great fun to ride. Would love another one.

Love this bike. Exhaust reminds me of a Bassani expansion chamber, fenders remind me of Prestone Petty products. Great presentation Chris!

Hi Chris, you remind me of a vernier calliper I had back in the eighties, extremely accurate! 🇨🇦

Hi Phil thanks for your kind comments on my content and I must say it makes a change from some of the stupid and often negative comments I receive on my video’s although I always try and be as accurate as possible in my information. But thanks again and I hope you continue to enjoy further content from my channel.

Nice video, thank you. Interestingly, in the U.S. the 250 Stormer came with an orange gas tank, whereas the 370 came with the yellow. They also came with the lightweight aluminum fenders, but a lot of owners switched to the Preston Petty durable plastic fenders.

No matter what I did I could not keep water out of the points compartment . A total dud for wet weather. Good desert bike. I raced that bike 1970-1973

How about the 370 Stormer i had one when i was 14 years old in the mid to late 70's great bike . the only 250 Stormer i road wad a old race bike that the flywheel took off through the case the guy replaced the case's but not the flywheel he mounted a battery under the seat and used it to power the ignition maybe four or five hours of ride time . one thing i remember that it revved like a 125 when it came on it was wicked . My friends were from Britain and i enjoyed Norton's , rover's 2000 tc and 3500 v8 auto's . Thanks for your channel . JM

I really wanted one of these. However I could only afford a Honda Elsinore…. In 1975…. Forty years later I race a 74 Husky in vintage motocross

After I Retired my AJS 250, I fully restored it an parked it in my fathers garage.1974. In 1994 I went to my dads house to retrieve my bike. He informed me that he sold it for $750 during a garage sale and he felt he was entitled to that money for storage fees.

What did you say to him Steven and are you still talking to him? I’ll bet you were gutted when you found out he’d sold your old race bike.

@@monticlassictv I actually purchased a home for him to spend his final years in comfort, but our relationship was never the same. I loved that bike

Beautiful bike but one year late. The 73 Honda Elsinore just killed all the British bikes.

I sleeved it down to a 200cc and raced against the honda CR125 in the school boy class PS I didn't stand a chance me on British with 20 honda cr125s red rockets ah well oh ! just to add that you could race a 200cc British bike in the 125cc schoolboy class ! But it used to break down in the swamps in good old Scottish wearther ther

Superbe machine avec un cadre minimaliste , elle a une gueule terrible; je la préfère cependant avec le réservoir alu sans les empreintes latérales.
