Classic Dirt Bikes "1960's Rickman Metisse BSA Goldstar"

Another superb British classic captured at the 2019 Scottish Motorcycle Show. This 1960 Rickman Metisse 500 BSA Goldstar took four years to complete and this was the bikes first ever outing after its rebuild. The chassis of course is a Rickman Metisse frame and the superb BSA engine was built by Phil Pearson.

Great video. In 1971 I raced a 360 Husky Viking 8 speed in the Mohave desert . But I have fallen in love with the street set up of this bike. The 500 cc would be great. It's a work of art bare none. I wonder how much the want for this model.

I’m in the states and keep that KZbin site going awesome to see the classics. Foot pegs and gear shifter look really trick, when you see the owner would you please ask him about the Rims. Thanks keep up the great Vids Love the European bikes especially Bultaco been riding and racing them for 45 years now still have five models in my shop

Apparently 3 gold star Rickmans exist if that’s true my dad has 1 edit engine doesn’t got so it’ll be a Rickman super mettise

I love it, but my small critacism is the tortuous curve of the pipe out of the head.
