When you have kids your life revolves around THEM and making sure you spend your time taking care of them not staying out until six am. I get everyone (parents included) need a break every once in a while but three times each week is excessive.

Not accusing you of this in particular but it's funny I never hear that same response when its a guy. If it is the guy who is partying and staying out, no one ever associates that behavior to the kind of father he is, maybe bad husband but never get labels like bad parent or "Jezebelle" but for a woman, she stays out late a few times a week and somehow she has to be a bad mother. How are those two related? If she goes out at night and with them, all day whatever she may be doing out there does not define how she treats her kids. People don't put guys under that same microscope so neither should a woman be subject to that judgment. As long as a man sees his kids a few times a week or pay child support he gets credit for doing that bare minimum but the woman can not possibly have a separate life from kids and husband, God forbid now she is a terrible mother.
