I love this, Battlefield III was the first big convention I attended, and I remember it so well that I really do appreciate you posting this footage for me to remember it by and revisit a great weekend. I traveled down to attend this from the North-West, by train, and while the journey down was fine, the journey back on the Monday morning was an absolute nightmare... I didn't get back till about 7 at night! I don't see myself in the signing room, or elsewhere alas, but seeing Anthony Ainley here I can only say he was marvellous! Both on the stage as he did his cabaret, and especially in the signing room - a true gent here, I am so glad to have met him. I have the strong suspicion that i left my visit to the signing room till late Sunday, I can't remember why that was, maybe the que, or maybe there was a lot on on the saturday and I didn't want to miss it. But it's remarkable to me sat here, looking back, on how accessible it all was - our ability to meet these people and interact. That we could still have conventions on this scale, ten years after the show had ended and been all but buried. The one blot for me however was a certain Percy....😗

This convention was a nightmare for me I was annoyed because I could not get to see the guests I wanted to see.

That's a shame, sorry to hear that. I missed Peter Davison at the one previous - he cancelled at the last minute for some reason. Still yet to meet him face to face, although I saw him interviewed onstage by Nev Fountain at Panopticon 2003.
