This is true dubstep to me and it aged way better than the midrange brostep aggressive stuff, I wish they changed the genre name to not confuse most and keep the good stuff isolated from the American and Canadian waves that warped the original dubstep concept and took off with the dubstep label making it a stigma to most today.

@@milenkcv.7074 i got hooked in 2011 and enjoyed dubstep until 2013. not saying that its not fun to have some crazy todays brabrastep dubstep sessions, but those old sounds are by far better. thank god there are still many underground dubstep labels and a lot of dope producers still pushing that sound in the shadows.

tbh people probably "hate" this because of how slow it is. This is pretty slow even compared to today's "dubstep" artists like Excision who is still much closer to this than most of the EDM out today.

+Sean Hartford Slow? 140 BPM is about mid-tempo, not slow; and if you hate music because of the BPM, that's fucking ridiculous. This is the EXACT same speed as modern Dubstep, and just because it's modern doesn't make it not Dubstep. Excision DOES make Dubstep, but he's mostly Brostep. BTW not all EDM is trying to be Dubstep.

It's wild that this is where Brostep/Riddim came from: slightly mellower, darker Dubstep with more focus on sub and bass sound than making the wierdest sound possible.
