Scholar were really good, they sold me a cylinder head at a fair price and it’s transformed my engine. Admittedly it was probably a 4 to 8 hp increase but that’s huge with a 1600 Crossflow.

Great to see you back. Your videos inspired me to switch to a single seater....after about 30 years of saloons i am also realising I'm too old and too slow 😅 That new donkey in the back means you can now just concentrate on your own driving. Well done.

Glad to have you back Richard, good to see your having fun again in your Crossle. Your pit stop was fantastic, getting out and changing your own tires in full attire. Reminded me of some of the silly fun I had racing Formula Ford '98-'09.

It’s great to be back, I’m glad I now have the cameras sorted and my car is running well. I hope to release lots more videos this year, some with an aviation theme.

A good honest self appraisal-as ever .What a contrast ,the Caribean to the freezing windy as ever Snetterton ! In our 2nd F3 race ,the stoppage really upset the timetable I'm afraid . Good to see You back racing and with another Commercial pilot helping You (Mr.Lingwood).

Snett is always windy but it's a fun challenge for the driver and cars. I'm looking forward to Donnington. I hope your season goes well.

It did feel like the old motor was due for a refresh last year. I'm glad you're back to posting regularly.

No it didn't, the cylinder head was decades old and the engine builder could see it was costing me time. The major difference is the low end power and the rate that the rpm increases out off a slow corner. I've been unaware that I was down on power since I bought the engine 5 years ago.
