I think this game looks really great I would like to try it! I do not have a Intellivision but I do have a Atari 2600, and will soon have a Coleco Vision. Its really great to see games being made for much older, and loved game systems. Keep up the great work.

Many people who see Match 5 don't think much of it, but when they PLAY the game, their opinion changes. Mark's response is typical. He 'doesn't like puzzle games' but really likes Match 5. It is a very addictive game! And, we might just port it to other platforms like he suggests!

Agreed. It is tons of fun, very clever. Took several games to get into it and then BAM.... addiction. And then Match 5 rehab. How can any human break 2000? Those stupid phone poles destroyed me every time.

TheGuyWhosLetsPlayin it is being ported to iOS and Android...will be free for the basic version and pay if you want to have bombs and 'speed' mode.

It looks fun. I do like puzzle games. Although I usually prefer games where fantasy creatures must die for having too many heads or the incorrect number of eyeballs.

Looks like a very nice home brew title for the Intellivision. Not quite my cup of tea (or glass of beer) as I think it needs more flame throwers as well. But as a home brew developer myself, I love to see older systems pushed further than games that were originally brought out for the system. The developer of this has done a really good job. Also being an Intellivision junkie, I am going to have to see if I can grab a copy of this (if still available).

You can purchase it on eBay and at Good Deal Games.....most people who say it isn't their cup of tea, end up not being able to stop playing it....seriously, it gets no respect.....listen to Lord Karnage!

Every time I saw this video on the sidebar I thought it said Mach 5, and I would think "Awesome, a new Speed Racer game!" Lol! This game still looks pretty good, I'd probably be OK at it. The puzzle games I always have trouble with are the ones with colors. I'm color blind so the green/orange ones look the same!

I've known games were being developed for retired consoles for a while now, but how is that legal? Do they have to get permission from the original designers of the system? I'm not sure how it works.

It's legal as long as you aren't violating any current patents or copyrights. Unlicensed games aren't inherently illegal.

There is no lockout chip on the Intellivision....it is perfectly legal to develop for the system....regardless, Elektronite has official developer status from Intellivision Productions for those companies that require that kind of thing before granting a license......
