Watching the Nords in this video make me realize Quebec got the best arena in North America right now, great hockey fans.. and no team while Las Vegas without much water, let alone real ice, is having one. NHL makes me sick.

When I see old hockey games I'm just as nostalgic for the teams that are no longer with us (Nordiques, Whalers, etc), and stuff like the Wales and Campbell conferences, as I am for the actual video games.

I often wondered the same thing. Some of those FMV games were actually quite a lot of fun. Bad acting, cheesy dialogue but still you'd enjoy them. Guilty pleasures. Now, with Blu Ray and HD doing the rounds, surely something like this could happen again? I suppose, in some ways, the Playstation 3's "Heavy Rain" IS this kind of concept underneath it all (correct button presses at certain times). That's a great game, brilliantly acted and executed, but there hasn't been one like it since.
