A great port of an Arcade Classic! I loved the fact that this version had all four tracks from the Arcade!

Mark's definitely improved his videos since this era. He seems to put so much more enthusiasm and pep into his delivery and how he talks about the games and hardware since then (even ones he doesn't like).

I remember getting my 7800 with this game and thinking that the graphics were so good that there's no way it could get better lol

As a kid I was more into arcade games than what Nintendo was doing with the nes. That is why I enjoyed Pole Position 2 better than Super Mario Bros. as far as pack in games. As I always felt as a kid and now that the 7800 was better than the Nes when I played a friends 7800 Pole Position 2. I owned a Sega Master System as a Kid, but the 7800 was awesome to me, more fun, and the arcade games. I loved the Master System, but the Arcade games had to much flicker, while I never saw that on the 7800. Many people have a lot to say about the 7800 but after Scrapyard Dog was made, we all could see that the 7800 could handle both sides of the table and hardware wise it was more powerful than the SMS and the NES

I miss it when Mark used to reply to one or two Comments like in this video. It'd be nice if he still did it, but I understand that there are way too many videos and even way more comments to respond to. Will probably always be a big fan of this show. :D

It does help to have some sort of basic understanding of what satire is before watching Game Room episodes. it won't hurt.

Take a look at those neck breaking speeds! From 0 to 125 mph between launch to the starting line! Could have fooled me. Looks more like 20 mph.

Hahaha!! There is more than a little truth to your comment! Whenever I played my Atari VCS, I jammed the stereo, so sound was never an issue!
