So I have a 66 c10 with a 4 speed tru ck trans... you are basically saying you took parts for an 84 and bolted them on... so if I had a 5.3ls I could use my clutch pressure plate and all just bolt it in, connect my cables and run with a carb intake for ls... correct?

Used a 4.8 flywheel. The clutch is from a mid 80s truck. I used a hydraulic internal slave cylinder from speedway motors. The flywheel and clutch disc do not fit perfectly. There is about half inch of disc that doesnt contact the flywheel.

@Boostmonger_Jon Жыл бұрын
I used locktite on the bolts. 4.8 flywheel, clutch and preasure plate from an early 80s gmc 6.2 diesel truck. The contact patch of the clutch disc is a little bigger than the one on the flywheel. There is about a half inch unused in the center. Might not be the proper setup but thats what i used and its been working so far.
