Bearing in mind, the nice back-story history regarding this barbershop, Bryce has actually done himself and the shop a huge credit by producing an immaculate haircut for Harry here. Genuinely one of or possibly thee best i've seen on this channel so far! 10/10 flawless! Harry looks a million dollars

A fantastic story of how Bryce came into the barbering world. Changing career paths is no easy choice, not to mention having it happen shortly before getting married. It's great to see him continuing the tradition with such passion.

One of the clearest and most pleasant memories of my childhood is the neighborhood barbershop... Shorty's... that my dad & I walked to once a month for our haircuts in the late 50's. The building, with Shorty's name still painted on the side & the same striped barber pole by the front door, remains. It's a local landmark now, with those same chairs & all his barber tools frozen in time & on display to view thru that now sealed front window. I visited not long ago for the first time in decades. I could vividly hear, smell & feel those Saturday mornings from all those many years ago with my dad. They were a treasured social event to this small boy. Thanks, Pop. And Shorty. Here's to you both... 🍻

This reminds me of the type of barbershop 💈my grandmother would take us to when we were little kids in the early-mid 60s. She would march my brother and I there and once we were done she would say “now you look like human beings again”. 😂😂😂. Love this old shop vibe as it triggered some wonderful memories of people who are gone now but always in my heart ❤

There are a lot of good folks out there! Also, Harry I gotta say you look damn good with a touch of gray coming through. Aging alongside you having watched this channel for years, it makes me feel a weird sort of emotional to see how far and wide you’ve travelled, and I’m very grateful you’ve taken us along with you. Thanks for the post. I live in LA now... but I grew up in Dayton. The city has been through several rough economic downturns. Yet bounces back! The people are super nice in Dayton. I really enjoy your global travels and haircuts. My uncle was a 30-year barber in Blanchester, Ohio. Another small Ohio town.
@DELREYGUY9 ай бұрын
Thanks! A little side story: My Great Uncle the barber was a WW II US Army Anti-Aircraft gunner, fought in the Pacific Campaign with General MacAurthur. He was born in 1922, in Littcarr, Kentucky. In addition to being a barber after the war, he was a private pilot and also raised Palomino horses on his Ohio farm. Many of his horses were used in the Rose Bowl parades. Once in 1966, a traveling circus came through Wilmington, Ohio. They brought a lion to his barbershop. My uncle put the lion in his barber chair and gave it a haircut! It made the newspaper. LOL He passed away in 2019 at 97 years old! Would tell patrons stories they could not believe. All were true.
