yeah i agree, thunderclap is not worth using at all especially if not talented into. only time id use it is on a big melee boss like baron rivendare or some bosses in blackrock spire

disarm is a big spell you should train, when i tank i press it on cooldown, its such a big defensive against melee mobs in dungeons. #showtooltip Disarm /startattack /cast Defensive Stance /cast Disarm

I'm seeing that a lot of low level warriors, in the Classic style, aren't doing it as protection with sword and board. They are tanking as Arms with a 2Hand. I'd recommend looking at Sanmedina's channel for talents and rotation. The higher damage from arms means greater threat, which you wouldn't get as fast with protection.

yeah using a shield at a low level is just not worth, the shield doesnt have enough stats to outweigh the benefit of using a 2Hander. you can actually end up taking more damage using a shield compared to a 2Hander because the mob will take alot longer to die. Also holding agro with a 1hander and shield is extremely hard lol. honestly i tanked until level 60 (the only time i put a shield on was baron rivendare in stratholm because he trucks, every other dungeon i fully tanked with a 2Hander)

Very good to know, I tihnk I'm sold on tanking with the 2h. This also makes it a lot easier on me since I don't need to train up the 1h!

charging into a pack as a tank in hardcore is not a good idea, youll get hit by all mobs at once (and ive experienced a few packs that you will just straight up insta die if you charge in) and if the healer isnt ready to cast a heal asap it can go bad. charging into a full pack in higher end dungeons will most likely always end in a death, i always pull via gun and let them come to me, gives the chance to LOS when needed to
