I used to work on 727 and yes, they are tough birds unlike these flimsy pieces of junk Boeing has been cranking out in the last decade.

Those Kalitta 727s used to charter horses out of Ontario Ca as well. Don't know what they're chartering now, but good to still see them in service...

B-727. My Favorite Aircrafts to fly. 94% the speed of sound. A Hand Full!!!!! If you can manage to Strap That Girl On you can Fly Anything !!!!! The last True Crew Bird with a CA, a F/O and F/E. Man I loved that Plane. We called it The Harley!!!!!!!!!!!! When AAL pulled it, Tears Flowed !!!!.
