Classic Match! Heart of Midlothian 5-1 Hibernian (11/08/2002)

Mark De Vries scored four times on his home debut as Hearts thrashed Hibernian 5-1 in a SPL classic at Tynecastle. Andy Kirk had already opened the scoring for Craig Levein's men when De Vries notched his first strike just before half time but Ian Murray's goal on 51 minutes appeared to have brought Hibs back into the match. It proved to be a false dawn, however, as De Vries fired another three goals, including two in injury time, to seal a famous win and book his place in SPL history.

I was never allowed to go to football matches as my dad said stadiums weren't a place for girls. But at the age of 17, it was my choice if I wanted to go to a game, and what a game to be the first game to ever go to in person. I has to go back to work after the game and I had no voice 😂😂😂😂😂 Incredible, incredible game, and what beautiful memories
