I’ll be doing a video on mine shortly, much the same as yours tbh, the only difference is I’m having a shaft machined up which will thread onto the reamer to guide it through, much like Keith’s but slightly different. Nice work pal

Awsome dude I look forward to watching it mate. What's your plan for removing bearings?
@minitom77725 жыл бұрын
Brown Dave much the same...socket and extension, failing that the trusty die grinder and a burring bit
@Shadowman444w5 жыл бұрын
Good job but fasten the vice down ffs
@josephberrie95506 ай бұрын
put some oil on the reamer as you are turning it makes the job easier and the finish on the bearing cleaner

Hi bud im doing mine weekend not sure what way the brass bush goes in is it any way ?
@browndave31444 жыл бұрын
Yeh bud they can go either way but check the bush for a chamfer on one side. I've seen some kits with a chamfer to help start the bush when winding it in. 👍🏿
@Peakwanderer5 жыл бұрын
If you can also leave the shaft in when knocking the bush out it'll obviously guide the bush through, probably best with the radius arm horizontal in the vice, tricky when the vice isn't bolted down though, been there and got the T-shirt.

Someone mentioned the same thing the other day but I'd want to grind the threaded bit off so it would sit in the socket better. I was too lazy and didn't want to grind the old pin😂Also sorry for my quick set up i got no workshop so my pop up bench and loose vice is the best I've got 😁 That ghetto life
@TornadoCAN993 жыл бұрын
@@browndave3144 The loose vice works fine....until it slips off the bench onto your foot! I guess that's what NHS is for. Be Careful Mate ;-)
