Lovely welding mate!👌The heat is a problem for me too and not been in the garage for a few weeks. Once the heat gets in, it's very difficult to get it out. Might have to consider Air con 😅

Air con! Check you out, still got a lot of repair work to do this side and then the sill on the passenger side, so the whole process again! 😝😆

Thanks mark, in the video that will be out soon I have ended up replacing the crossmember end after all that work! 🤣

Very neat work repairing the cross member.

Thanks Conor, glad you are still following the build, the rust is pretty insane how it is between every single seam, looking forward to getting this side complete

The crossmember you've repaired is 💯. Nice work 👏🏻. Also I bet inside the garage feels like you're in a greenhouse 🥵. I've not even ventured in my garage for that reason alone. The jokes are funny & cheesey at the same time. Love the humour 😄 😀 👌🏻.

Thanks Rick, very very hot, still a huge amount to do but I’m doing my best to get the repairs to a high level and I am very fussy about the welding, the videos and the resto are going in the right direction, thanks for supporting it

My man, well done!! You don’t realize how bad some jobs are or why they take so long for professionals to do it, let alone yourself to tackle them. You’ve got some really good tips in the video and really break it down for people to understand what goes into repairing rust. Very proud my friend, well done 🙌🏼

Thanks dude, It’s gotta be done correctly, some of the previous welding repairs did not look safe! Still plenty left to do

Such a rusty mini. Well done for getting out in the heat and cracking on. Glad the new earth clamp has helped and you’ve dialled it in now. Should be able to fly through it now mate!

Great video buddy first of all those seat brackets look great. Also regarding the door step bare in mind he profile is often not the best. So if you can get away with using a part of the door step repair panel I would. Preservation 💪🙄

Yes I know it will take longer and a lot more welding but I just do not want to cut out the original doorstep….Thanks dude! 👍🏻
