Tom, Happy birthday! Great to see the windscreen in i know it‘s a bugger of a job but you got there, the plastic tools are the way to go and The nylon string works but it‘s harder to do on a small screen like the mini. Well done on fitting it on your own! Cheers Dave.

Tom, Sorry i forgot to mention the silver filler strip should meet at the top of the screen as the water will always sit on the lower part of the screen where you have the join! If you have cut it already then don‘t worry but keep an eye on it in the rain for drips, Sorry i should have mentioned this to you before but you can see it in my video. Cheers Dave.

well done normally the trim joint is at the top with a chrome trim covering the joint but its upto you

great vid Tom , for safe sake i am going to get some plastic tools , as i brought a new rubber,and with the locking strip fitted on the rubber before fitting the rubber to the glass it very well might be to big a fit so to say , a old used rubber no problems , happy birthday , i was 50 this year and brought my mini a shit load to me from me ,

Great job as well and left my join at the bottom like you to prevent any leaking that would collect at top. Lemme know if you have any tips/tricks for the small chrome finishing strip. That is a PITA!!!
