And there was Al Smith's Swanton Pacific Railroad, the Corn Roast music festival, Big Creek's delicious water, Last Chance Road...those were the days.

Joe and I went and rode here before. Had a head wind going north but on our way south man we were flying with a great tailwind. casually going 30mph uphill.

I'm really glad you and Joe had that tailwind, Locks - it makes you feel like you're a pro 🤣For anyone who hasn't done the loop, the smart way to ride this one is to leave in the morning before the wind picks up so you don't have to battle a headwind for 15 miles and so that on the way home when the wind picks up in the afternoon the tailwind blows you home. It's a mistake to do the ride if it's raining or threatening to rain because that usually means a tailwind going out and an awful headwind coming home. Nothing worse than the wrath of Mother Nature!
