Sam Tordoff competed for BTCC titles, but perhaps his biggest challenge ever was keeping this mighty V8 Ford Falcon in a straight line at Goodwood.

That was some incredibly skilled driving. These cars are impossible in the rain. It's like they were designed to kill you the second a drop hits the ground.

Another AWESOME reason the Goodwood series is the absolute best racing on the planet. these drivers have absolutely no fear, you would never see American drivers racing in heavy rain, without whining like little girls. the Goodwood series has become my favorite, and only racing that I watch it's definitely the best there is.

I love oversteer once you figure out how how the car reacts. I put a power lock in my Dart and had to relearn how to drive it. Once I got it down I could pitch it sideways and hold it just like that in the rain. I have a 06 Charger Hemi RT and when I fully turn off the traction control it tries to kill me wet or dry, especially wet but it has at least 100hp over the Dart, still figuring it out 😉

IRS is probably making it harder for you in the Charger. Especially if it has poor camber curves where the inside tire (or trailing tire in a drift) is massively negatively cambered and only working on the inner 1/5th or less of the contact patch.
@69Dartman
@69Dartman 2 ай бұрын
@@Drunken_Hamster I'm getting used to the way it reacts now. The rear drops instead of raising but it also tends to spin both tires with the open differential so something is working. The Dart would jack the rear and the drivers side tire when I loaded it up, not the Charger. There probably are kits to fix that but don't have unlimited money to dump into it when I'm mostly just trying to drive it and not break anything, plus get better than 12 mpg in short trips. I just put Champion Platinum plugs in it so hopefully that helps. The old ones looked perfect though. Wow a year later and we I get a new reply 😉
