Good old classic 2003-2007/Storm Chasers Season 1 DOW/TIV crew/team right there, nice! (shame said show had DOW3 & TIV1 together for only one season, though if Discovery had aired the _original_ first season in 2006 there would have been two)

Don't know about Twisted specifically but in general DOW3 is an older CSWR Doppler On Wheels truck that was operated from 1997 to 2008: after 2008 DOW7 replaced DOW3 (DOW6 meanwhile replaced DOW2, which was operated alongside DOW3, starting in 2008). DOW7 itself was actually retired about a month or two ago, supposedly because the team has a new DOW to replace it with (not confirmed though, just implied by DOW7's retirement).
