swahili pilau comes in many versions. It's a common delicacy in the coastal region of Kenya.You could either have beef, chicken, mutton or goat meat. For best pilau, you need lots of onions ,spices ,ginger and garlic otherwise your pilau will not he upto standard. Also, it goes so well with ripe bananas and kachumbari

You need cumin seeds,cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper and cloves...you can either use them as whole spices or ground. ❤
