I started raving when I was in my mid 40s. Helter Skelter, United Dance then clubs in Brixton such as The Fridge and the Mass. I was around when all these tunes came out. I had the best times of my life with my partner, Misty for over 15 years of partying. I love these tunes and when I hear them it all comes flooding back. Unfortunately we are no longer partners, but still the best of friends....

Yes they go together well... looking back I can see I hit the "issue" on these Audio Technica decks where if you slow them down, they overcompensate and speed up loads, meaning it's a constant battle that is confusing in the moment! Cheers! I've got enough vinyl for probably another two sets, but also have just got Traktor DVS up and running so might put a mix out with that next. It's great to see so much interest in this to be honest, I wasn't expecting it. Yes indeed. I actually forgot I had it on vinyl, and it was only when Steve mentioned Aurora on a Thrillseekers set that I remembered the track. Love it. Even before I did this set I can't help but mix it into A&N Everyday in my head, so I just had to do it!

@@JonGTranceClassics hey .. oh ok I'll explain. Your microphone needs a pop shield as plosivs are coming through from tour voice. Mostly low frequency but some low mid. At the user end it makes any speakers make a sound like a thud or a 'bop' as the wind from tour voice hits the mic diaphragm. A shield prevents this and clips on the mic stand and sits in front of the mic.

I think the biggest difference I’ve found is the way these digitally controlled decks respond to touching the platter to slow down/speed up, very different to the cheap direct drives I used back in the day.
