Күн бұрын

#classictruckrescue #classictrucks #classictruckranch Not a single truck (Or car) left on the old property. This week we begin work on our temporary home on the new property. Phew...
Sorry the videos I am putting out are running a bit behind our actual progress, but they will get caught up this week.

@ 24:55 when you show the writing on the radiator it says Lockport NY.I am from there! My Dad worked for 40 years at Harrison Radiator. So proud to see these old gems! Even if it was before my Dad's day working there...he was just a High School kid then!😉💯💢👌👍💪

That Jamie certainly is one of a kind individual. She’s so fun loving and easy-going and likes those trucks! Always has a positive attitude and always beautiful, doesn’t need makeup to be that way. Treat her like a queen, because you don’t find many like her!

You two are good people. Love watching this and I can't explain why other than, I love watching you move and build your estate. I hope you two stay blessed and I'll keep watching. Thanks for your effort to provide videos of this kind of stuff. My favorite truck is probably the yellow chevy. Only because I could see that as a daily driver and it has a beautiful look up front. BTW, Barnwood has a reeeally nice look with that grill setup. What a cool truck that one is...

+HunterNugent The yellow chevy is a 1958 Chevy Napco 4x4 that we call 'Banannarammer". We call it that because the previous owner didn't show it much love and bounced it off a lot of stationary objects while rompin' around his property in it. It does run and drive now and has an awesome sound to it. Thank you for your kind words and Thanks Again Fer Watchin' -Rick

I have been bingeing on your move and didn't realize this was some years back. I have occasionally watched your channel but lately have become addicted. You and Jamie are wonderful positive people and a guiding light for me to become a better person. Glad to know you are people of God! My favorite truck is Red. I have a 66 1 ton dually panel truck that was originally all singles, but I switched it all over to dual wheels and changed the front drums from a from a flatbed chev. My truck has all 8-19.5 dual wheels with 8 holes. Really rare wheels you almost never see anymore. I see Red has a set on her. Love the channel brother and sister. Bruce

The sound of Homer bangin' through the gears is better than any song I've ever heard, nothing like the sound of an old Small Block Chevy at work. That is one awesome truck, my favorite part about it is that winch, that thing will just yank whatever you hook to it! Hope you guys get a chance to relax soon. Take care!

Excellent work Rick, Jamie and Farmer John! Glad to see the sun actually shines in Oregon! Rick, as a friend, I am concerned about all the work you all have put in, I can see the fatigue in your face and hear it in your voice. Nobody likes your videos more than I do, but I think you need to take a break to recharge your own batteries (Jamie and Farmer John included). Moving is a rough job when it is just a household, but you my friends have gone above and beyond what anyone has had to do in just any normal move. We all here want to enjoy CTR in the future, so take care of yourselves........ My prescription, a few days of sleeping in, a few cold beverages, and a day or two of lounging around. Don't make me have to come up there! LOL! "Dr." Earnharvick....

That was one heck of an undertaking! Not only moving all your trucks, but having to clean out the garage etc where all your tools and storage is. The amount of work to do that is incomprehensible to me. I would hate the amount of work it would take just to clean out the loft of my shop and move everything and I'm no pack-rat by any means. You also had to up root your business, then reestablish some where else. I think you, Jamie, and Farmer John, did a spectacular job planing and moving. I surmise it would have been nice and less stressful if your landlord or lease agent would have given you more time to plan and move. Because finding the amount of land you needed to move to and getting it ready has to be super time consuming just in itself. Congrats on how you did that, not many people with such a small crew could have pulled that off let alone do it under almost impossible time restraint as I see it. I"m a new viewer so I probably don't have all the facts, just what I see here and a few past videos, but I'm catching up. I hope you can breath a sigh of relief at your new land even though you have no garage and your tools are in a trailer. So much hard work. Not many people would have had the stamina that you had to make this happen.

Glad your move is almost over. like I said I wish it was two years later, I would be there helping. I got evicted from my shop in Hood River the landlord gave me 24 hours to get out or he was keeping all I couldn't get out (not sure it was legal but was just tired of him) so I had around 20 cars to move and there was no way they were all getting moved, so I moved all my stuff first, and left Wills (Will was a lawyer and a judge) stuff for later I figured just let the landlord try to keep Wills cars. good luck, Mike Childs (the guy with the 04 GTO)

+sixinarow1 I'm pretty sure a landlord can only make you vacate a property by the date you are legally required to be out. They can charge you storage on what you have not removed from the property at that time, but they can't just take it from you. Regardless, we worked our tails off, but every bit of our stuff is off the property. Hope you are taking good care of my GTO Mike. Thanks Again Fer Watchin' -Rick
